I’m Robert Armstrong, a freelance graphic designer based out of Southwestern Ontario. I have over seven years experience since graduating with a Graphic Design Advanced Diploma from Fanshawe College in 2009 and a Bachelor of Design from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University in 2011.

When I’m not freelancing, I work at The Gazette Student Newspaper as full-time staff in the compositing department, where we design and layout the paper, including managing their online presence, digital publishing and creating other useful things.

I am proud to say my work has been responsible in part for the Gazette winning the 2017 Outstanding Campus Newspaper Award (Canadian Community Newspaper Awards) and three 2017 Associated Collegiate Press awards, including Best of Show – Newspaper Special Edition.

Some of the groups I’ve worked with are College Royal at the University of Guelph, Airia Brands, Forest City Comicon, Canadian Dachshund Rescue and Families for Addiction Recovery.

While you’re here, make sure to view my work, check out my sketchbook or even send me a message.
